Wild Wild Riches, Megaways, Returns, Pearls or Joker? How Pragmatic Play’s money-collect “Wild Wild” slots compare
Short answer — Pragmatic Play’s five “Wild Wild” money-collect slots all work the same way: a wild on certain reels collects the money symbols it connects with. The numbers around that rule differ a lot. The original Wild Wild Riches has the highest RTP at 96.77%. Its Megaways version is the lowest at 96.02%, but it is one of two pages that state a cap, 10,000x. Returns (96.50%) moves the collect onto reel five, with money values up to 10,000x and an “Irish Spins” mode at 10x the bet. Pearls (96.46%) and Joker (96.49%, 5,000x cap) add their own twists. How a collect works, with an example
In Wild Wild Riches, a wild on reel 1 or 2 collects money symbols worth 1x–25x on reels 3–5. A random multiplier of 2x, 3x or 5x on reel 5 can multiply the total. As an illustrative example of our own, on a ₱10 bet: a wild collecting money symbols of 5x and 12x pays 17x, or ₱170. A 3x multiplier on reel 5 makes that ₱510.
What each version changes
- Megaways: extends the money symbols to reel 6 with 1x–20x values and 25x–250x jackpots. It offers 6–20 free spins, with a gamble option to try for more before the round starts.
- Returns: wilds on reels 1 and 5 can carry 1x or 2x and collect money on reel 5 worth up to 10,000x. In free spins, values build in a meter that pays if a wild lands at the end. “Irish Spins” cost 10x the bet and play with only wild, bonus and money symbols. A 100x bonus buy is available in select markets.
- Pearls: jackpots of up to 100x on reel 6. Filling a whole reel with money multiplies the win: x2 on reels 3–4, x4 on reels 5–6. Super Free Spins raise these to x3 and x5.
- Joker: pays in both directions. Random Boost Wilds raise money values, and Respin Wilds trigger respins.
The RTP gap in pesos
Riches (96.77%) against Riches Megaways (96.02%) is a 0.75-point gap, one of the widest between an original and its Megaways version on Pragmatic’s site. On ₱10,000 of total bets, that is an expected long-run cost of ₱323 against ₱398, a ₱75 difference by our calculation. Irish Spins at 10x the bet mean ₱100 per spin on a ₱10 base bet, so check what they cost before using them.

- For the best long-run return, choose the original Wild Wild Riches.
- For more ways and a stated 10,000x cap, choose Megaways, accepting the lower RTP.
- For big single money values and the Irish Spins mode, choose Returns, after checking costs.
